Career Fairs 

Every year the Madison County Employment and Training Department partners with other agencies to host a Job Fair. Usually held in September at the Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville, and scheduled with hours to accommodate both employed and unemployed job seekers, the Job Fair has regularly attracted more than 1,000 job seekers and between 50-100 employers. This is an opportunity for job seekers to share their resumes and complete applications with numerous employers all under one roof. It is also an opportunity for employers to meet and talk with hundreds of job applicants all in one day. When not meeting with employers, job seekers can attend any one of many professional job-search training sessions held throughout the day that have included classes on interviewing skills and resume tips.

Jobs Plus 2009 was held Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville, IL. Potential employers conducted interviews and accepted applications and resumes during the fair.
