Career PlanningCareer Planning

The Madison County Employment and Training Department offers both self-directed career planning aids and intensive career planning guidance through our Career Specialists and Job Clubs. Self-directed tools include books, magazines, audio and videotapes, Internet sites, and college catalogs. Career guidance includes a full range of aptitude and interest testing and one-on-one dialog with our Career Specialist. Job Club offers tools for self and skills analysis, improved focus, market research of the job market, and ideas for using the customer's unique attributes to find an individualized career niche.
