Internship Opportunities Internship Opportunities

Internships are a great way to gain experience, build a network of professional alliances, and explore different career options. Many internship positions often provide valuable training and exposure to the professional world, which may be out of your reach in paid positions. It is important to choose an internship that will express your personal goals and interests, while giving you room to build upon and learn new skills.

Through Madison County Employment and Training, youth are given the opportunity to participate in work experience with public and private sector employers. Youth are screened for eligibility and then placed at work sites that are related to their career choices. This way, youth gain valuable work skills that they may carry forward into their future careers. Career specialists are on hand in each office to assist youth through a variety of career assessments and offer guidance in developing a career plan.
